Cancellation by the lessee

Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter, fax or electronic mail confirmed by post.

If the cancellation is made by the lessee, the compensation to the lessor amounts to:

• 50% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 29 to 15 days before the start of the stay.
• 75% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 14 to 8 days before the start of the stay.
• 100% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 7 days before the start of the stay to the day of the start of the stay or in case of failure to appear at the holiday lodging.

Cancellation by the lessor

If the cancellation is made by the lessor, he returns the total of the paid deposit and balance, taking into account a compensation fee to be paid to the lessee equivalent of:

• 50% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 29 to 15 days before the start of the stay
• 75% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 14 to 8 days before the start of the stay.
• 90% of the price of the stay if cancellation is made 7 days before the start of the stay to the day of the start of the stay

Compensation is not due in case of Acts of God.

Non arrival within 24 hours

In case of no arrival within 24 hours of the date of the start of the stay foreseen in the contract:

• the contract will be deemed null and void,
• the deposit shall remain the property of the lessor who reserves the right to demand the balance from the lessee,
• the lessor may use the holiday lodging.

Early departure

An early departure of the lessee, for whatever reason, does not imply reimbursement, even partial, of the price of the stay.

Payment

The lessee returns to the lessor one copy of the contract duly completed and signed by him and pays the deposit (25%) at the latest ten working days after receipt of the contract.

The balance is due 30 days before the start of the vacation except in the event of a late reservation in which case the total amount shall be paid upon arrival together with the security. Should the lessor not receive the contract or the deposit within the stipulated time limit he may withdraw, in writing, within 8 days following the date of the late payment or the return of the contract signed by the lessee.

Bedlinnen and towels

For an amount of 12 € (VAT included) per person, this service will be delivered by an external company mandated by the owner. In this case the beds will be prepared prior to your arrival.

Capacity

The lessee shall make use of the holiday lodging in a manner in line with its destination and as a responsible tenant. In case the actual number of occupiers exceeds the stated capacity of the holiday lodging, the lessor reserves the right to turn away the extra people without notice or to demand a compensatory fee. Any violation of this clause may lead to the immediate termination of this contract, at the expense of the lessee, the rental fee remaining definitively the property of the owner.

A responsible lessee

The lessee undertakes to act respectfully towards other inhabitants and equipment in the area of Ferme de Ferooz as well as towards the fauna/flora environment in general.

Security cameras

Security cameras are filming the outsides and the parking lot.

Electronic equipment

No electrical or electronic equipment shall be connected to the electricity network of the Ferme de Ferooz without prior authorization of the owner, except hairdryers, electric shavers and mobile phone chargers.

Strictly forbidden

• Drones (UAV)
• Fireworks
• Pets are not allowed
• Smoking is not allowed inside the holiday lodging nor close to the horse facilities.

Security

• The children are under the responsibility of the parents
• Access to the ponds is strictly forbidden to all tenants.

Internet

An access to Internet via WiFi is granted but it is formally forbidden to access or download illegal or forbidden Internet sites or downloads.

Car charging station

A charging station is available for charging electrical and hybrid motor vehicles.

Tribunals of Namur

In absence of agreement between the parties the venue for the dispute shall be the tribunals of the judicial district of Namur.
